A number of museums in Sacramento and the Bay Area are taking part in this weekend’s “Museum Day Live” initiative by offer free admission all day on this Saturday, September 28.
An event launched by “Smithsonian” magazine, to get the free admission, attendees must register and obtain special event tickets at www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday.
Sacramento area museums participating include the Aerospace Museum of Caifornia, California Automobile Museum, California State Railroad Museum, and Maidu Museum & Historic Site.
And Bay Area museums participating include Bay Area Discovery Museum, Blackhawk Automotive Museum, Cartoon Art Museum of California, and Legion of Honor.
