Phil Waterford’s Manteca Ford has encountered many divine experiences and shared the most recent with THE HUB.

A single mother made headlines by returning a wallet with $4,000 in it that she found in the parking lot of the store where she worked, Bagel Express Delicafe in Stockton. She admitted that she thought about taking some of the money, but knew that the right thing to do was return it. “In my life right now, I’m kind of in a bad place and really struggling,” she said. “My car is broken down, there are some things with my 2-year-old son going on and I just lost my apartment.” She uses a skateboard as her main source of transportation.

When Waterford heard her amazing story on social media, he knew they had to pay it forward.

Every year, his little dealership plays host to a FREE Christmas Eve breakfast that serves hundreds upon hundreds of needy families every year. This single mother was a volunteer serving our guests to an incredible meal as every child 12 and under received an age appropriate toy and a chance to meet Santa.

Holiday Surprise – The dealership decided to reward her for her honesty and integrity by paying for her son’s medical expenses and gifting her a Brand-New 2016 Ford Focus.
