Gabrielle Union will star in the BET original movie “Being Mary Jane” on Tuesday, July 2 at 10:30pm PST on BET.
From the producers of the award-wining BET comedy “The Game,” “Girlfriends” and the box-office hit “Sparkle,” “Being Mary Jane” tells the story of successful TV news anchor Mary Jane Paul, who seems to have it all. In reality, she’s a self-sufficient powerhouse with a lackluster love life who remains devoted to a family that doesn’t share her motivation. How far is she willing to go to find the puzzle pieces that she — and society — insist are missing from her life?
“Being Mary Jane” also stars Richard Roundtree, Margaret Avery, Lisa Vidal and Richard Brooks. And there is a “Being Mary Jane” series slated for January 2014 on BET Networks.
