The two-day Sacramento Banana Festival will take place August 10-11, 2013, at William Land Park and will celebrate the banana’s influence with world music performances, banana-themed activities, food tastings, and much more!

The Sacramento Banana Festival is a drug- and alcohol-free event designed to provide fun and entertainment for the entire family, full of activities aimed at promoting health, wellness and environmental stewardship.

The 4th annual Festival will kick-start with the Power Soul Stroll for Health 2013 5K run/walk on Saturday, August 10, from 9am-11am at William Land Park. The run/walk is a part of the Festival’s goal to help its participants get active and “Go Bananas for Health.”
