In honor of Black History Month, the Lifetime Channel is offering three new movies starring the likes of Mary J. Blige, Angela Bassett and Toni Braxton.

“Betty & Coretta” starring Blige and Bassett premieres Saturday, February 2, and tells the similar true stories of Coretta Scott King (Bassett), wife of Dr. Martin Luther King and Dr. Betty Shabazz (Blige), wife of Malcolm X.

“Twist of Faith” starring Braxton will premiere Saturday, February 9, and tells the story of a lead singer of a gospel choir in a small town who helps an Orthodox Jewish Cantor return to life after the death of his wife and children.

“Pastor Brown” starring Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Keith David will premiere Saturday, February 16, and follows a young woman who returns home to take over as pastor of the family church after her father’s death.
