Yolo County’s Mary L. Stephens Branch Library will host a four-part parenting workshop series for children, age 1-3, and their parents.
These workshops will provide preschoolers and their caregivers opportunity to play together with developmentally appropriate toys, learn together with children’s health and developmental resource guests, and get to know other parents in the community with like-aged children. Dramatic play, music and art, gross and fine motor skills, as well as books and puppet play will be incorporated into the series. Presenters will include a nutritionist, pediatrician, pediatric occupational therapist and children’s yoga specialist.
The series will be held 10:15-11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, October 16 to November 6. Due to the focus on young children, older siblings may not attend.
The Mary L. Stephens Branch Library is located at 315 East 14th Street in Davis.
