The Promote the Peace Project is now accepting music, poems, essays, short video documentaries, movies, and dance projects to be considered for a music CD/DVD, rotation on the Peace Radio Station, and the Peace Stage at Sacramento Juneteenth.

All submissions should contain positive messages about the community, personal stories and insights on how we can reduce violence in our communities, personal life stories, stories about inspirational people, or something positive. The Project is open to youth ages 12 to 21, and the submission deadline is April 30, 2013.

The top 16 songs, 16 poems, 16 essays, 16 dance teams and 16 documentary videos will be selected for the first Promote the Peace CD/DVD and will be considered for Promote the Peace radio and website.
