Robin Roberts returned to “Good Morning America” today, Wednesday, February 20, exactly five months after she had a bone marrow transplant to treat a rare blood disorder known as myelodysplastic syndrome, or MDS, according to an article on People.com.

Roberts received a standing ovation from her crew, and even received a welcome back message from the Obamas.

According to the article, a special edition of “20/20” on February 22 will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Roberts’ experience.
