A new study has ranked the Sacramento/Arden-Arcade/Roseville area as the 10th best city for women in the workforce.
The study, conducted by NerdWallet.com, reported median earnings for female full-time, year-round workers in our area almost $44,000, and women’s earnings as a percentage of men’s earnings were about 84%.
San Francisco was ranked #2 and San Jose #3 for best big cities.
The study also ranked Napa and Santa Rosa as some of the best small cities for women in the workforce and Stockton as a best medium-sized city.
