On September 26 – 28 a delegation of over 15 faith leaders from Sacramento Area Congregations together were in Philadelphia for Pope Francis’s visit. They were part of a larger delegation of faith leaders from the PICO National Network who traveled to DC and Philly to see him speak. In honor of he Pope’s visit, they also participated in a number of social actions that lifted up the plight of the least among our society, including immigrants and the formerly incarcerated.
Sacramento ACT leaders are looking to share the Pope’s message of inclusion and liberation far and wide as they work to reawaken the moral conscious of our nation, state, city and speak truth to power.
