SACRAMENTO  –  The Sacramento Steps Forward Board, chaired by Pastor Rick Cole, recently announced Ryan Loofbourrow as the next Executive Director of Sacramento Steps Forward. “Ryan has a strong history of work in our community and has continued that record of success in San Diego over the last two years. He is a dynamic leader and we are privileged to have him join us in our efforts to serve our community. Ryan will be a tremendous asset to Sacramento Steps Forward,” stated Pastor Cole.

Loofbourrow began his career in Sacramento, where for over ten years he served in leadership roles including co-chair of the former Sacramento County and Cities Board on Homelessness. He worked for the Downtown Sacramento Partnership as the Director of Community Services, establishing deep roots in the community.

Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of the Downtown San Diego Partnership’s Clean and Safe Program where he had the opportunity to work with San Diego’s multi-agency campaign to end homelessness.

“I am excited to join the Sacramento Steps Forward team. Having previously served on the Advisory Board for many years I know first-hand the knowledge and dedication this organization brings to ending homelessness in our state’s capital city. I am committed to fostering region wide collaboration as we continue to establish a network of housing opportunities and services for the most vulnerable members of our community,” remarked Loofbourrow following his appointment.

Loofbourrow will assume his role at Sacramento Steps Forward on March 17th, 2014.
