A new TV series about the underground railroad and based on the book “Song Yet Sung” by James McBride is being planned for FX, according to an article on EURWeb.com.
The series will reportedly be called “The Code” and will center around the story of a black woman making a run for freedom as she makes her way through the underground railroad. The series will reportedly be produced by Kelsey Grammer’s Grammnet NH Prods.
