Don't miss the festivities during Black Family Week and Day at UC Davis starting May 10 through May 17th.  The line up of activities include the: Ebony Ball, documentary movie screening of "Daddy Hunger", movie screening of "Sankofa", Gospel Spring Concert, Stompfest. CLICK HERE for a full schedule of activities.  On Sat-5/17 is day for the entire family to bring your blankets, lawn chairs, awnings to relax on the green lawn of the UC Davis Quad.  You will definitely want to get to Black Family Day early to claim your space on the lawn so that you can see the live entertainment up close and personal.  The "Wine & Jazz Social" was excellent last year so don't miss it. Directions from Sacramento:  Take I-80 West to 113 north towards Woodland. Exit on Russell Blvd and make a right. Turn right at Howard Way. Park in the parking structure on your left. Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Directions from the Bay Area: Take I-80 East towards Sacramento and then follow above directions.
