Since
October 2006, the Founder
of Sacculturalhub.com, Pleshette Robertson, decided to
open the box of local and ordinary African American women
on the move in Sacramento. We wanted to bring some
of these women to the forefront and recognize them as
Sacramento's exceptional Black women in the October issue
of The Hub Magazine (formerly named Sacramento's
Exceptional Black Women). In October 2008, we are
inviting all of the women featured in our past issues as
we as women from the community to join us for the first
annual "Sacramento's Exceptional Black Women
Networking Brunch". Our theme: "An
Inspiration of Women Winning in Life!"

What I've (Founder
of Sacculturalhub.com) learned to be the common thread
among Black women is that despite the economic downturn,
any peer conflict they may have, family pressures or
financial struggle, they are enduring, they continue to be
empowered and hold to a strong sense of sisterhood amongst
their friends, relationships with family members and
co-workers. These women are: bodacious, ambitious,
beautiful, vivacious, leaders, successful, role models,
gifted, educators, smart, divas, powerful, victorious,
committed, fascinating, sophisticated, spiritual, dynamic,
productive, stylish, professional, multitalented,
inspirational, business owners, creative, givers, and
trendsetters. See last year's photoshoot session -
