Strengthening African American Nonprofit Organizations

The time is now to register for the annual 2015 Congress of African Peoples’ Convening with a focus on theme: “Strengthening African American Nonprofit Organizations”.

Directors, Staff, Board Members and Volunteers of African American non profit organizations should attend as well as other interested members of the community.

Taking place Sat-9/12 from 9 am to 3 pm at the WCIC-Women’s Civic Improvement Center, 3555 Third Avenue in Sacramento. Workshop topics will include: collaborating and forming coalitions; sharing information and resources; learning about and supporting each other’s mission; collaborative fundraising; and using social media to strengthen communication.
