HIGHLIGHTS of the Prophetic Apostolic Moment by Staff Writer, Kim Bailey.  Bishop Yardley Wendell Griffin, Sr. and Destiny Church (formerly Greater Faith Church) hosted the Prophetic Apostolic Moment on Sunday, March 19th through Tuesday, March 21, 2006. This highly anticipated event celebrated Bishop Griffin’s 29 Years of Pastoral Ministry, and highlighted his numerous achievements in ministry and the community. The special guest for the Prophetic Apostolic Moment was Master Prophet, E. Bernard Jordan of Zoe Ministries in New York.   The celebration began with a processional, as members marched into the Destiny sanctuary with shouts of high praise and the waiving of beautifully-colored flags in representation of the twelve tribes of Israel gathering at the tabernacle to hear the blessings of God proclaimed by Moses as they prepared to enter the Promised Land. The processional also symbolized the readiness of Destiny Church to hear the Word of God and a life-changing word, which Bishop had been speaking of as he lay the foundation for this “moment” in previous years. The theme scriptures were Chronicles 20:20, “Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper”, and Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”  The special guest for the Prophetic Apostolic Moment was Master Prophet, E. Bernard Jordan of Zoe Ministries in New York.  While attending the 2005 Prophecology Conference hosted by Prophet Jordan last August, it was confirmed that Bishop Griffin was a Prophet and he consecrated. Prophet Jordan is known all over the world as Bishop Jordan, a “personal Prophet” to many, a seer and “Prophet to the Stars”.  Prophet Jordan delivers the message of God to His people, revealing their gifts and potential to them personally and teaching them Godly principles that establish their success and prosperity. Prophet Jordan was the speaker for all three services, teaching and prophesying to all who came forward for a specific word from the Lord.  A private luncheon hosted Bishop Yardley Wendell Griffin, Sr. and Lady Kitty Griffin was held at the Julia Morgan House and Gardens in honor of Prophet Jordan. Prominent spiritual and civic leaders were invited, and during the event Prophet Jordan delivered an encouraging prophetic message from the Lord to each person in the room. Terry Moore, award-winning poet from Sacramento and host of the “The Show”, the largest poetry venue in Sacramento, entertained the guests with “Where Do We Go From Here” an original poem written specifically for the luncheon, and a thought-provoking poem called “2 Seconds”, both identifying the urgency to show love for people and to take action in the family, ministry and community before its too late.  Members of Destiny Church were honored and excited before, during and after this highly-anticipated event, demonstrating their love, appreciation and thanks for Bishop Griffin for being a great Pastor and friend, and for bringing the Master Prophet to Sacramento their church. The experience with the Prophet was “a blessing”, “life-awakening”, “motivating”, and “powerful”, encouraging the people to embrace Kingdom-living and to move forward toward their God-ordained destiny.
