We
scraped the plates clean at our lunch
soiree at The Plantation Restaurant and
Bar in North Sacramento. Co-workers and I, Pleshette,
from UC Davis Medical Center and friends
from Another Look Beauty and Barber Salon
from South Sacramento and also a realtor
from KB Homes met for lunch on Thursday,
February 9, 2006.
Several
of us including myself had the fried red
snapper and catfish with sides of
coleslaw, mac and cheese, red beans and
rice, and greens.
Some had the fried chicken,
oxtails, and the country fried steak.
Our waitress brought out plates
with large portions of food.
We ordered all the likes of hot
sauce, tartar sauce and ranch dressing.
One of my co-workers who just moved
from the Bay Area thought her lunch was so
delicious she told us that she was going
to bring her mom for dinner next month for
her birthday.
