On November 15, 2005, over 3,000 women
are anticipated to participate in the Professional Business

“PBWC was thrilled with the response to the conference last year and we are excited to grow the event in this vibrant community,” said Ruth Stergiou, Executive Director of the PBWC. “This is truly an inspiring day which allows women from a diverse range of communities, corporations, non-profits, small businesses and the government arena to focus on their professional growth.”

Negotiating for Success: Gender and the Pay Gap
What is really at the heart of the pay gap between men and women? Is it systemic workplace discrimination? Is it due to the different work-life choices that men and women make? Are there complex hidden barriers to equal pay? Two experts representing both sides of the debate will engage you in a lively discussion supported by research and statistics, and then focus on what women can do to close the gap.
