Monday, January 16th - Join us in MLK March For The Dream in Sacramento
Get ready for the MLK-Martin Luther King Jr. March and Celebration in Sacramento on Monday, January 16, 2012. Join the 6-mile March with over 20,000 residents and visitors. The March for the Dream begins at 8:30 am at 2 locations in Sacramento: Starting from Oak Park Community Center and from Grant High School with ending at the Sacramento Convention Center. You can also join in the March at 9:00 am from the location of Sacramento City College.
You can help us keep the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. alive! With every mile you walk and every dollar you raise, MLK365 is able to host another event, fund another grant and create another school-based program 365 days a year!
Immediately following the March, there will be a celebration of activities and entertainment for the entire family at the Sacramento Convention Center taking place from 10 am to 3 pm (FREE admission), which will include the following >>read more:
