Don't miss Fua 35th International Workshop Tour in Sacramento. Featuring Master Workshop Tour in traditional Congolese Dance and Drum on Sat-7/21 at Our World Cultural Center in 2251 Florin Road in South Sacramento. Drum class from 1:30-2:45 pm and dance Class from 2:45-4:15 pm.

The Founder of Sacculturalhub.com, Pleshette Robertson is so excited about attending Fua Dia Congo's International Workshop Tour. Pleshette's mom, Cherry Douglas, danced professional in the '70s throughout the Bay Area with Fua Dia Congo under the late Malonga Casquelourd.
Lungusu Malonga is a direct her to the vast legacy of Fua Dia Congo. A remarkable dance, choreographer and instructor with nearly 20 years of experience, she continues the work of transmitting Congolese cultural traditions begun by her parents, Malonga Casquelourd (Fua founder), and Jeannie Ishman Brown (founding Fua member).

Pleshette's state: "I like to exercise, jog, and kickbox, BUT I love to African Dance and experience the sound of the drums. It's like no other experience and rhythym beats of the drum take you to another dimension. My mother and I would get so excited when we could get away on Saturdays and take the Congolese and West African dance classes at Alice Arts Cultural Center in Oakland.
