Countdown to Top 4 Nominees in Online Voting – Hub Choice Awards 

In 2009 Sacculturalhub.com & THE HUB Magazine will host Northern California’s Largest “Urban Leadership & Entertainment” Awards Show. Sacculturalhub.com & The Hub Magazine are ecstatic about the overwhelming response received from users and readers who have started voting in over 75 categories. Hub Choice Awards casts a dynamic spotlight on Sacramento's Urban Leadership and African American Professionals - from Best Hairstylist, to Best Barber, to Best Comedian, to Best Gospel Singer, to Best Doctor, to Best Principal, to Best Chef, to Best Attorney, to Best Pastor, to Best Teen Athlete, to Best Rapper, to Best Dentist, to Best Artist, to Best Poet and so much more. The categories have expanded to now include Most Valuable Black Businesses in Northern California as well as the Chamber Spotlight Community Achievement Award with the Most Valuable Businesses in the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento Asian Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce and the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce. 

The Founder of Sacculturalhub.com & Chief Editor of THE HUB Magazine, Pleshette Robertson has announced the deadline date for the online submission of nominees in the 2009 Hub Choice Awards. The online ballots for submission of nominees will close on Sunday, February 15 at 5 pm. "If you have not already submitted your choice of nominees, go vote online now at Sacculturalhub.com in over 75 categories", declared Robertson. On March 2, 2009, four names will be listed in each category and new ballots will be posted to the Sacculturalhub.com website to begin the voting process for the winner in each category. Ballots listing the top 4 nominees will close on Sunday, May 10 at 5 pm. 

Winners will be announced on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Hub Choice Awards show taking place at The Crest Theatre in Downtown Sacramento. This year's Red Carpet Black Tie & Hollywood Gowns affair will include a runway fashion show, celebrity entertainment, and a dynamic dance performance showcase. See photos from last year's event.
