Upcoming Crocker Museum Events – Thinking in Pictures, My Life with Autism, Temple Grandin

October 12, 2014 – Azure: Music for Listeners on the Autism Spectrum, 3 PM, Crocker Art Museum, 216 O Street, Sacramento. Prelude tour at 1:30 PM. Free for museum members. Included with general admission for non-members. For more information visit crockerartmuseum.org.

Azure events are tailored for those friends on the autism spectrum or with similar neurodiversities, and their families and caregivers. Join an autism dad, Steve Prutsman, for a wonderful mix of popular and classical selections.

November 2, 2014 – Wonder Lab: Art-making with Kinds with “I Can Do That!” (Engaging Children and Youth of All Abilities). 11 AM – 2 PM, Crocker Art Museum, 216 O Street, Sacramento. For ages five and older. Free for museum members. Included with general admission for non-members. For more information visit crockerartmuseum.org.

This drop-in art-making project, open to all, is designed to spark creativity! Children with learning and developmental disabilities, ages 5 and older, and their families are especially invited.
