FHA Back to Work = Extenuating Circumstances Program. Financing for borrowers who have recovered from financial hardship due to loss of income or employment.

Buy a home 12 months after foreclosure or other negative credit event!

You may qualify if:

* your adverse credit was due to economic event beyond your control (loss of employment, and/or reduction in household income of at least 20%, concurrently for six (6) months or longer

* you have fully recovered from the economic event

* your creidt has been re-established with no derogatory credit in the last 12 mths

* you have been current on your rent or any open mortgage for the past 12 mths

* your credit prior to the economic event was satisfactory

* you have completed a HUD-approved housing counsling course at least 30 days before applying

* you can qualify for an FHA loan, which allows homebuyers to purchase with as little as a 3.5% downpayment
