 Heyyyy now ..... whas' crackin' Hub Fans and newcomers to Sac Hub! Well, I have officially started my vacation today and what happens in Palm Springs stays in Palm Springs. You know I'm excited right ... only because I'm a be chillin' like a villain with my gurlfriends and my cousin, and I'm so happy to be escaping my parental duties, home, and so on. You know a woman over 40 is excited when she starts dancing while driving and listening to old school music on her way to work. That's ME as I'm a woman over 40 - ready to have some straight up fun this weekend. You think I had never been no where on vacation before whereas my sister has been to Jamaica, Atlanta, and I ain't never been really no where but to Arkansas to see my cousins when I was 16. Anywho, I'm around here today getting all my last minute items and had to hit up Walmart this morning as I almost forgot to get my sunscreen...you know Black folks always forget they have to put on sunscreen instead of lotion so they don't get sunburnt. As I'm getting reports that it's going to be 115 degrees this weekend in Palm Springs...we are about to be some serious fried eggs out there (LOL!). Well....I happen to be at the very tail end of my 10-week weight loss challenge (ending Fri-7/24). Time to celebrate with my sissy! As I can now fit into those designer jeans, "True Religion", that my mom bought a few weeks ago. Can't wait to buy my own pair as they are definitely a nice pair of jeans.
