CARES is looking for 3 youth, age 18-24, from the African American, Latino, and Gay/Lesbian/ Bisexual/Trans (GLBT) communities. The youth will become peer educators leading teams of diverse youth to provide HIV/STD education, prevention, and testing to 1000 Sacramento Area youth ages 12-24 during the 2009-2010 school year and summer 2010. Student leadership experience and interest in community service, social work, and public health is a plus.
