The
Little Miss Capital City California Pageant will take place on Sat-7/9 at the McClatchy High School Auditorium, 3066 Freeport Blvd in Sacramento. Showtimes is at 6 pm and doors open at 5 pm. LMCC is for girls ages 3-months to 12-yearsold. The pageant is a fundraiser for the National Girls Self-Esteem Program (G-SEP) and was originally limited to girls living only in Sacramento. The pageant has since grown in size and popularity and now hosts contestants from all over the state. G-SEP is a mentoring program for girls ages 4-12. Girls learn Verbal Judo, Self-defense, how to cope with bullying and teasing, sisterhood, and nutrition, while learning the importance of carrying themselves with poise, grace and dignity. Pageants like Little Miss Capital City fund G-SEP mentoring chapters.
