Stretch your body, unstretch your mind, and find your inner potential through controlled breathing and asanas sitting positions. The Sacramento Public Library will offer a series of free yoga classes on Saturdays, January 7 through February 25 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Valley Hi-North Laguna branch, 7400 Imagination Parkway, Sacramento. The class will be led by Heera Kulkarni Yoga Shiromani, a certified yoga instructor from International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, India. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat.
