Join the Greater Sacramento Urban League at the 2012 Mardi Gras Extravaganza on Sat-2/25 for a full day of music, food and fun! Taking place at the Sacramento Convention Center. The day begins with a free Mardi Gras Festival at the Sacramento Convention Center from 10 am to 4 pm. Hear live music, sample delicacies from local restaurants, and browse exhibits from local businesses and organizations, all in a colorful and joyous Mardi Gras atmosphere.

That evening, the action shifts to the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria, 828 I Street in Downtown Sacramento for the Mardi Gras Ball at 7 pm, featuring cocktails, dining and dancing, all decked out with fancy masks and colorful Mardi Gras traditions, topped off with the crowning of the Mardi Gras 2012 King and Queen!
