Big Valley Black Expo at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds Exhibit Halls Mar 5, 6, 7 in Stockton. Featuring: "African American Authors, Writers, and Publishers Book Expo", "Loan Modification Series", "Diversity in Business Faire", "Authentic African Wedding", "Fashion Show", "Gospel Sunday and Fellowship Faire".  There will be a Stockton "I Got Soul" Sangn' Competition and the Bay Valley Corvette Club presents Keith Floyd of "After 7".

African American Authors, Writers And Publishers Book Expo

The Bay Valley Corvette Club Concert/After Party
Once the Black Expo the fund still does not stop. Party with the Bay Valley Corvette Club and the Stockton Chrysler 300 Club as they raise fund for children with special needs. Entertainment will include a concert by Keith Floyd, former lead singer with the popular R&B group "After-7." A ticketed event.

A TRIBUTE TO THE "FIRST LADIES" OF THE CHURCH (L.O.V.E. Awards)
We will give special homage to the first ladies of the Church in Stockton for all they do to uplift people through God. Our 2010 Honorees of the Ladies Of Victory Everlasting Awards (LOVE) are: Mary Clayton, New Life Worship Center; Yvette Saffold, Greater Harvest COGIC; Trena Turner, Victory In Praise; Emma Peterson, White Rose COGIC; Katherine Henry, Greater Marantha COGIC and Dolly Dockery, Christ Temple Apostolic Church. THE RALPH WHITE "YOUNG LEADERS OF TOMORROW AWARDS"
Stockton Icon Ralph Lee White will join with Black Expo in honoring 20 young leaders who are doing positive things for the community, their families and their future. These young Stocktonians are the next level of leaders who are excelling in education, business, careers and Faith. "I Got Soul" Stockton Talent Showcase/ Competition
More fun and excitement. We are looking for the "best of the best" singers, dancers and groups for the "I Got Soul" Show. This contest is open for everyone ages 10-and up. If you "got soul" and feel you can sing, dance or entertain; registration begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 6 in Bldg.1. Don't be late. Register early by calling 209 423-9761.

The "Talented 10" Black Expo Basketball Tournament
The kings of street basketball will take part in an exciting 10 team tournament at Edison High School on Saturday March 6. Teams will be awarded at the Black Expo on Sunday March 7. Team fee is $125.00 per team (8 people per team). Call 209 423-9761 to register.

 

Sunday, March 7 - "GOSPEL SUNDAY"
An all day praise party! The music, the bands, the songs and the inspiration. Enjoy the choirs and the singers on our main stage in Bldg. 2 for this day of glory. Bring everyone!!!!
