PROGRAM

EWOC PROGRAMThe Exceptional Women of Color (EWOC) Conference presented by the Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation includes a host of activities:

The EWOC Conference program has been developed to create an environment for peer-to-peer networking and solutions surrounding three pillars inside the conference:

EXEMPLIFY LEADERSHIP – We encourage our attendees to take action and serve as visible examples that future generations can emulate. Being a leader is a goal that, once achieved, needs to be reinforced and continuously fostered.

EMPOWER – For women of color who are working toward the C-Suite, leadership status, or entrepreneurship level, we’ve developed workshops with a focus on solidifying business acumen, confidence, and communication.

EDUCATE – It’s imperative to understand that though female leaders are gaining ground in some areas, there is an extreme deficit of women and girls of color who are seeking STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related careers. If we don’t take action, we have no one to blame but ourselves for the lack of diversity in the IT talent pool.

Pleshette RobertsonIf your organization is interested in partnering with the Sac Cultural Hub Media Foundation to participate as a sponsor or exhibitor and supporting women of color in leadership and mentorship, please contact us at (916) 234-3589 or e-mail.
