Today at 1:30 p.m.: Kings, Build. Black. Coalition Highlight High-Tech Careers for Local STEM Students

Sacramento, Calif. –This afternoon, the Sacramento Kings and Build. Black will host kids from the Roberts Family Development Center and Simmons Center to learn about technology careers firsthand from industry professionals. As part of theXfinity Drone Speed Challenge– the biggest drone race and esports crossover event in California history, the students will learn to fly drones from some of the world’s most elite drone pilots from the Aerial Sports League (ASL), and tour the NBA’s first esports training facility withKings Guard Gaming.
 
ASL pilots and Kings Guard members will also speak to the students about their unique roles in the technology industry, while highlighting the importance of STEM classes.
