"I see (our work) as a vehicle for reflection, a call to remember how far we have come, and a reminder that our work isn't complete. It is an acknowledgment that we are not the first to struggle against injustice and that we can stand proud knowing that we, too, possess the strength to overcome adversity." - Lisa Lacy

"Don't miss this opportunity to witness the best of Black Theatre Arts in Sacramento. I've been to past shows presented by Images Theater and they are so fantastic, rich in talent, dynamic and entertaining.  The cast of actors are so very talented and include some of my favorites that include Sacramento's very own, Derrick Miller who starred in 'And The Dreams Goes On' and singer-Sara Von Davenport who starred in 'Hallelujah City'.  For those of you yet to experience the best of Black Urban entertainment in Sacramento, The Guild Theater is the place to be for state of the art Broadway shows."  - Pleshette Robertson
