Outraged by inflammatory public statements and the failure of law enforcement to take action, members of the California Legislative Black Caucus, Latino Caucus and Asian Pacific Islander Caucus will don their “hoodies” and join together to stand up for murdered Florida teen Trayvon Martin at a news conference tomorrow, Thursday, March 29 at 10am at the State Capitol, Room 1190 (Governor’s Press Room) in Sacramento, according to a press release issued by Senator Roderick D. Wright. Legislative staff and all members of the greater Capitol community are urged to join legislators in wearing their hoodies on Thursday.
