The 16th Annual Congress of African Peoples (CAP) Convening featuring panel discussions, cultural and community resources vendors, lunch, networking opportunities and information sharing. Our 2018 theme: Beep-Beep, Bang-Bang, Umgawa Black Powa! 21st Century visions of Black Power. The process of turning visions into realities. Taking place on Sat-9/8 from 9 am to 2 pm at Fruit Ridge Community Collaborative in the auditorium, 4625 44th Street in Sacramento.

Admission is $15/person and $5 for seniors and students.

The MISSION of CAP is to provide an annual forum or convening for promoting dialogue among people of African Ancestry. We will come together and share our experiences, acknowledge our accomplishments, voice our concerns and exchange ideas, with hopes that we will return to our homes, neighbors, jobs, churches, mosques and temples with greater understanding and inspiration to improve our lives.
