This workshop will define social justice advocacy and ways it can support the mental and emotional wellbeing of Black people.  Through conversation and reflection on recent events, workshop participants will examine the ways in which social advocacy supports Black communities and lack of advocacy hinders growth and wellness.  Workshop participants will have the opportunity to develop practices to increase social awareness and advocacy in their families and communities.
