This workshop will explore the roles of resiliency and growth through the lens of the “Post Traumatic Growth” theory (Calhoun & Tedeschi). Discussion will focus on defining Post Traumatic Growth (PTG) with an emphasis on the impact of exposure to racism in daily interactions and the negative impact this has on the health and wellness of Black people.
