The Annual Bay “GLITTERATI ” White Ball will be held on Sat-8/31 starting at 7:30 pm. Due to its popularity, the Bay Area’s White Ball: Glitterati became and an annual event and is once again making history again with amazing attendance and planning for the 2013 event. With incredible cuisine and cocktails, fabulous clothing and Downtown Oakland as its beautiful backdrop, Glitterati is a bonafide sure front-runner for the go-to summer event. “An AMAZING event with 3,000 fabulous guests in white will descend on the corner of 10th and Broadway at Downtown Oakland.”
This year’s event will open with a special guest host, comedian Rickey Smiley and performing live–“Bell Biv DeVoe”. With incredible cuisine and cocktails, fabulous clothing and Downtown Oakland as its beautiful backdrop, Glitterati is a bonafide sure front-runner for the to-to summer event.
This year’s charity benefactor is the Children’s Hospital of Oakland. The evening’s theme—”Glitterati: I Am The Bay and I’m Fabulous In White”. A strong roster of local and national celebrity appearances ensures this to be a star studded celebration. The event will feature numerous drink specials to patrons sporting glam, summer whites which will include House cocktails, and white wines. There will also be a drawing for a White package prize, which will include wine glasses and private Wine party for 8 guests. The drawing is free, however you must be in your white attire to be eligible to win.
Bay Area Chefs will prepare amazing summer selections available the evening of August 31st, with dishes that capture the season of summer, including fresh seafood items and classic desserts, sweets and treats.
The Oakland Convention & Visitors Bureau has recognized the Bay Area White Party this year for bringing revenue to the city and for giving back to one of its darlings the Children’s Hospital.
