The 2011 Sacramento Banana Festival promises to be Banana Splitacular

Join us for a celebration of everything bananas and family fun! Enjoy a wide range of music, dancing and food from around the world, local artists, entertainment for all ages and much more. In addition to celebrating healthy food and healthy lifestyles, we will be celebrating the cultures in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas which have used the banana as a traditional source of food, art and cultural customs.

Event Date: August 13th from 10am to 7pm and August 14th from 10am to 5pm

Event Location: William Land Park/Village Green at the corner of Sutterville and Freeport (across from Sacramento City College)

Check out this year’s line up of entertainment.  Advance tickets sales are $5.00 and $7.00 at the gate, children 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at www.bananafest.org
