Monday, March 18 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm, Indivizible is hosting its monthly meeting featuring renowned author, consultant and lecturer Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu at The Guild Theater, 2828 – 35th Street, Sacramento. Dr. Kunjufu has authored over 30 books including national best sellers. His work has been featured in Ebony and Essence Magazine, and he has been a guest on BET & Oprah. He will be discussing an economic solution for the black community.
His book, “Black Economics: Solutions for Economic and Community Empowerment” explores why African Americans earn only 61 percent of white American income, why many African Americans prefer to maintain a ‘good job’ rather than own and operate their own businesses, and why African American consumers only spend 3 percent of their 600 billion dollars in African American businesses.
