National African American Male Mentor Conference

National African American Male Mentor Conference ~ June 13-15, 2013

Book Signing & Discussion

The National African American Male Mentor Conference will be taking place from Thurs-6/13 to Sat-6/15. This conference will change the course of young African American males as they unveil a plan to recruit, train and organize 100,000 African American men over the next 10 years to mentor African American boys. 72% of Black boys ages 16-19 are victims of violence and 53% of Black boys are high school drop outs. The O.K. Program is a mentor program, which fosters partnerships between police agencies, schools, students, community members and faith based ministries to provide positive guidance and support to African American males ages 12-18.
