The Bay Area vs. Sac Celebrity Basketball Game taking place on Sat-9/21 from 3 PM to 6 PM, Grant Union High School, 1400 Grand Avenue in North Sacramento. Live Music, Entertainment, and Cheerleaders. Activities begin at 2:30 PM. $5.00 admission. Kids under five free. 2. Kingsley Ogwudire former Harlem Globetrotter and Nigerian professional basketball player.

3. Big Al Sams popular V101.1 Clear Channel radio personality.

4. Terry Moore seven-time “Best Spoken Word Poet” award winner and TV show host.

5. Pastor Alonzo Morris from Paradise Missionary Baptist Church.

6. Ericson “Cal-E” Porter has been the music engineer for the Ying Yang Twins, Kurupt and Grand Hustle Records.

7. Rae Rock is a recording and performing artist, co-headlined with Hip-Hop legend Twista, former NBA Summer Pro League player and three-time Sacramento “And 1” Hoop Team participant.

8. BT Kingsley comedian/actor BT Kingsley is fresh off his Bounce TV debut on the top rated show, “OFF THE CHAIN,” and is starring in the upcoming film, “JOKE THIEF.”

9. Brian Broadway legendary Sacramento three point shooter.

10. Elon Randolph former Northern California Pro-Am League player.


Event Schedule

1:00pm – The Snap Back to School workshop will take place. Snap Back to School is a youth success workshop that will take students K-12th to the next level in athletics, arts, and academics.

2:00pm – Doors open to the public and the pre-game concert begins featuring live band Ear Candy and Tony R.  Plus other festivities such as a puppet show by Shunn Brown with TRPN Time. Kids can dance at mid-court.

2:30pm – Local Celebrity VIP guests arrive and are seating in the VIP section.

2:55pm – National Anthem will be sung by Samara Brandon.

3:00pm – Player introductions with dancer Sinporya Allen, Diplomatz Dance Team and hip-hop artist Izreal performing. GAME TIME follows the introductions!!!

Entertainment

End of 1st quarter break: saxophonist Shawn Raiford & Saxual Chocolate band.

End of 1st quarter break: dance team Diplomatz Dance Team.

Halftime:  X-Quisyte Dance Team and singer Tia Ferrera.

Entertainment during the game plus timeouts: Singer J.Black, DJ Hustle live band Saxual Chocolate and cheerleaders Sacramento High School Cheerleaders.
