SAVE THE DATE!!! In commemoration of Malcolm X’s birthday the Congress of African Peoples (CAP) presents the 9th Annual Convening entitled “The Great Migrations: Telling Our Story.“
Taking place on Sat-9/10 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Women’s Civic Improvement Center located at 3555 3rd Avenue, Sacramento.  One-day event of intellectual discussions, great speakers, workshops, vendors, resources, and lunch

The mission of the Congress of African Peoples (CAP) is to promote dialogue among African-descended individuals and organizations in the Sacramento Valley by sharing perspectives, visions, hopes, expectations, disappointments, plans, and ongoing work.

The purpose of the Congress of African Peoples will be to provide for an annual convening of people of African descent in Sacramento. The Congress shall not attempt to develop an action agenda. The purpose of the Congress is to provide a space, which African/Black people from all over the area can share and connect with each other.

REGISTRATION FEE:
$20 Individual
$5 Seniors/Students and individuals with limited funds
$25 Localnon profit organizations
$50 Local large non-profit and national
