The hashtag #OscarSoWhite has once again taken over social media thanks to Thursday morning’s Oscar nominations announcement.

Yes, “What Happened, Miss Simone?” is up for Best Documentary Feature and “Straight Outta Compton” — which was written by two white screenwriters — is up for Best Original Screenplay, but the nods mark the second consecutive year no actor or actress of color were chosen among the group of nominees.
