Darrell Wallace, Jr. is reportedly the first African-American driver to win a national NASCAR race in the last 50 years, according to an article on CNN.com.

Wallace, 20, reportedly won the race this past Saturday at Martinsville Speedway in southern Virginia. The first African-American to win a NASCAR national series race was by Wendell Scott in December 1963.
