Newly sworn-in Congressman Ami Bera will hold several “Congress on Your Corner” events throughout California’s 7th Congressional District later this week, according to an official press release.
“Congress on your Corner” events are open to the public and offer constituents the opportunity to share their thoughts with Congressman Bera and his staff about legislation in Congress and happenings in their community. Consituents can also seek assistance with any issues they may be having with a federal agency during “Congress on your Corner” events.
Congressman Ami Bera represents Sacramento County in the 113th Congress. A lifelong Californian and first generation American, Bera is a medical doctor and the only Indian American currently serving in Congress. He and his wife Janine live in Elk Grove with their 15-year-old daughter Sydra.
Congressman Bera will have staff available at the events to discuss resident concerns and to collect their information so that his office can help resolve issues. Please RSVP to Bera.RSVP@mail.house.gov.
