‘Legendary gospel artist Kirk Franklin and rapper Lil Baby won the Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the BET Awards 2022 for their collaboration on We Win, off the soundtrack for Space Jam: A New Legacy.
In Franklin’s acceptance speech, he talked of “passing the baton” and graced his award to Maverick City Music as the “next generation.”‘
