The Downtown Sacramento Partnership is calling all passion-filled go-getters with big ideas to send in their ideas for a new retail business in Downtown Sacramento for the chance to win start-up capital and rent for one year.
Applications are due by May 24, 2013, and are open to all entrepreneurs with a retail-oriented business idea, current retailers who want to open a new concept, and those who want to expand or relocate from outside of Sacramento.
Applicants are invited to submit their business concept for consideration. The winner will reportedly receive an awards package worth approximately $125,000, which includes rent-free up to one year in a Downtown location, start-up capital, and business support services.
