A new documentary, “The View From Here: Class Dismissed,” which explores alternative schools and specialized programs in the Valley through the lives of three young people will premiere on Capital Public Radio September 20, 2013, at 9am and 8pm
“Class Dismissed” tells the stories of three young people from an up-close and personal vantage point, raising larger questions about the drop out crisis in California, what’s at stake for the future and what are the possible solutions. One out of four adults in California are reportedly a high school dropout, with some of the highest dropout rates in the state in the San Joaquin Valley.
