Don Cheadle and Zoe Saldana have reportedly been tapped to start in an upcoming biopic on American jazz musician Miles Davis, according to various reports.
Cheadle will reportedly play Davis in the upcoming movie called “Kill the Trumpet Player,” according to an article on NewsOne.com. Cheadle has reportedly been trying to have the film made for years, and production will not begin in June.
And Saldana has reportedly been cast to play Davis’ wife, Frances Davis, according to an article on TheGrio.com. According to the article, Frances Davis was a star in her own right, as she was the first black woman to join the Paris Opera Ballet and starred in the original “West Side Story.”
