Sandy Holman will receive Woman of The Year Award from John Garamendi, Member of Congress, along with other recipients.
The Culture C.O.-.O.P and United in Unity are excited to announce that Sandy Holman is receiving the Woman of the year award, along with other recipients for her Equity, Diversity, and Social Justice work. She will be acknowledged, with 30 others, on September 22nd by Congressman John Garamendi and his staff.
Sandy Holdman has also received the Concilio Community Award for the Equity/Diversity/Social Justice work that The Culture C.O-.O.P and United In Unity implement in communities throughout the nation. It is critical work and this award also helps to raise money for youth to go to college which is dear to Sandy’s heart. This award ceremony is open to the public and will take place on October 17th at 7pm in Woodland, Ca. Tickets are 30 dollars and the money is used to sponsor scholarships for college bound students.
